With Kool Keith, Scaramanga helped create the Dr.Octagon concept, co-wrote and produced tracks, and toured with the group. Upon his come second to New York, he took on the false name Sir Menelik and teamed with Rawkus for a series of singles and appearances on the MTV show Lyricist Lounge. The Rawkus album was delayed endlessly and Scaramanga went solo, with the remnant product existence 2001's full-length Sevener Eyes Seven Horns. The album hosted a large smattering of New York MCs and producers including DJ Spinna and Goldfinghaz of the Wu Tang Clan.
