Soul singer and ballad maker Rahsaan Patterson is another in the job of new-school R&B singers (Maxwell, Erykah Badu) with a morsel more than integrity than most of the chart-toppers during the 1990s. After tattle in church from the age of six-spot, Patterson moved with his crime syndicate from New York to California to sensation in the children's point KIDS Incorporated. He later affected back to the East Coast, resuming his career with small TV roles and assorted commercials, just returned to Los Angeles in the early '90s to record demos and contribute backing vocals to albums by Martika and Brandy, among others. Patterson proved himself a more than than competent songster as substantially, writing hits like Tevin Campbell's "Back to the World" and Brandy's "Baby." Those successes last earned him a recording narrow with MCA, which issued his self-titled debut record album in early 1997. Love in Stereo followed deuce age by and by. After a foramen from the performace spotlight, he released After Hours in August of 2005.
